Remember all those scraps? Lovingly cut and organized. I decided to use them quickly, get the good mojo going and try out hexagons. I've not been able to do y seams very well yet, and I think this hexagon practice will get me on my way to mastering that. And voila!
The pillow matches dd's quilt. Who doesn't need a big squishy soft pillow? Next up-containers for a friend's cubbies, scrub hats for a friend, and I"ll start ds's quilt. February is MY month for the quilting bee Buzz Cuts I belong to so that means I send out the fabric and receive blocks. Love it! I have been collecting my fabric since December. I'll be cutting this week and mailing out on the 15th. Keep warm...unless you already are.
