Rolling like a river

All of those half circles turned into many circles. Because I usually start with a sketched plan instead of just winging it, I got a teensy bit stuck after I got the circles up on the design wall. I came up with these two options (and please excuse my photos-it was a dark and stormy night...)


This one looks like a piecing nightmare, but that is what a (brand new) rotary cutter is for!



This is definitely a straightforward sew it up option, but I think somehow it lost the fun of the circles. I'm leaning towards the piecing nightmare, but making it about waves. And maybe some lighter blue kona...I'll keep ya posted.
